PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING

Terms & conditions.

Last updated: 24 September 2026. These terms apply to use of the High Value Domain Names marketplace and to domain purchases, including winning auction bids and accepted offers.

Strict payment terms

25% deposit: A deposit equal to 25% of the agreed total purchase price is required when you buy a domain or win an auction.

Balance within 30 days: The remaining 75% must be received as cleared funds no later than 30 days after the deposit is taken. Your purchase record will show the deposit date and balance deadline. Initiating a transfer by the deadline is not sufficient if the funds have not cleared.

Deposit forfeiture and immediate relisting: If payment is not made within the required timescales, the deposit will be lost and the domain name will be put back up for sale with immediate effect. There is no automatic extension or grace period. You lose the right to complete that purchase.

No transfer before full payment: The domain will not be transferred to you until the full purchase price has been received and cleared.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 and have authority to enter into a binding purchase. Provide accurate account and contact details and keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. Sellers must have the authority to sell or rent each domain they list.

2. Listings and prices

Prices are stated in pounds sterling. The agreed total, including any applicable tax or separately agreed fees, must be confirmed before payment. Domain availability is subject to confirmation. A listing is for the domain name only unless a written agreement expressly includes a website, content, intellectual property or other assets.

3. Buying and making offers

Review the domain spelling, extension, price and payment terms before proceeding. By accepting these terms and submitting a purchase, you agree to pay the 25% deposit and the remaining balance on time. An offer is subject to acceptance; an unaccepted offer does not reserve a domain. An accepted offer follows the same deposit and balance terms unless a separate written agreement applies.

4. Auctions

Bids are commitments to purchase if successful. You must not bid on your own listing or manipulate bids. The highest eligible bid at the close, where the reserve is met, is the winning bid. A winning bidder must pay the 25% deposit on winning. The remaining 75% must clear within 30 days after that deposit is taken. Failure to meet the payment requirements results in forfeiture of any deposit taken and immediate relisting.

5. Payment method and timing

Purchases are settled by bank transfer using verified instructions supplied by the team. A purchase request on this website does not itself collect payment. Quote your purchase reference with each payment. Payment dates are recorded when funds clear, not when a payment is initiated. The balance deadline is 30 days after the recorded deposit time and is shown in UK time. You are responsible for allowing enough time for banking delays.

6. Transfer and ownership

After full cleared payment, the parties coordinate the registrar transfer. You must supply accurate receiving-account details and complete required registrar checks. Registry restrictions, transfer locks and third-party processing can affect timing. No fixed transfer time is guaranteed. Registrar renewal and transfer charges are your responsibility unless agreed otherwise in writing.

7. Due diligence

You are responsible for deciding whether a domain meets your needs, including checking trademarks, legal restrictions, previous use and renewal costs. No traffic, income, search ranking, resale value or investment return is guaranteed. Buying a domain does not automatically give you rights to a third party’s trademark.

8. Rental and brokerage

Rental does not transfer ownership. The rental period, payments, use restrictions and termination terms require a separate written rental agreement. Brokerage scope, fees and any authority to negotiate must be agreed in writing before work begins. The purchase deposit terms apply to domain acquisitions, not automatically to recurring rental payments.

9. Default, cancellation and statutory rights

The strict payment and forfeiture terms above apply if you fail to pay on time. Any cancellation request must be raised with the team promptly; do not assume a refund or extension has been agreed. Nothing in these terms removes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer rights.

10. Enquiries and disputes

Use the contact form with your domain name and purchase reference for payment queries or complaints. The legal seller and any transaction-specific terms must be identified in your written purchase documentation before funds are sent. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory protections applicable to you.
